About Us
History
Our journey began with a vision to unite and empower Somaliland Canadians across Canada.
The Somaliland Canadian Organization was created to bring together Somaliland Canadians through unity, culture, and community engagement. What began as a shared vision among community members has grown into a platform that supports youth, families, newcomers, and future leaders across Canada.
Our organization works to preserve Somaliland culture and identity while creating opportunities for connection, leadership, education, and community development. Through events, outreach programs, and collaboration, we continue to strengthen relationships and build a stronger future for the next generation.
We believe strong communities are built through cooperation, inclusion, and shared purpose. By working together, we create opportunities that inspire growth, leadership, and positive change.
Today, our mission continues to grow as we connect communities, celebrate our heritage, and empower Somaliland Canadians to make lasting contributions across Canada and beyond.
